The first program offered by photocourses.com will be Digital Photography: The Complete Course, which will launch this summer. Other course offerings will come on-line later this year and in 2001.

{Digital Photography} Digital Photography: The Complete Course is an intensive training course in digital photography that presumes no prior knowledge of photography or computers. Delivered via WebCenters and CD-ROM technology, students learn all aspects of digital image acquisition and capture, manipulation, and output. All students in the Complete Course are given a complete and systematic introduction to the essential image-manipulation software-Adobe Photoshop.

As with all photocourses.com and NYI programs, our exclusive teaching materials include lessons written by the NYI faculty and photography experts. Digital Photography: The Complete Course students enjoy feedback from professional photographers who serve as teachers and evaluate student photo projects. In addition, every student is assigned a student advisor whom the student can contact by e-mail, telephone, or regular mail. This allows students to learn how to master the Course subject matter without the need for expensive technical suppport from vendors.

{New York Institute of Photography} photocourses.com is the Internet learning site of America's oldest and largest photography school, the New York Institute of Photography. As the leader in photography training for close to 100 years, NYI has been planning to take serious photo education on-line for the past several years.

Visitors to photocourses.com will be able to enjoy the Site's free month photography e-zine, @photo, as well as learn about the photography offerings that will be made available to serious photographers of all skill levels over the coming months.
